Filing
A copy of the liability insurance certificate and the performance and maintenance bond must be on file with the city clerk, in a form approved by the city attorney. No figure is published because the base amount is written as the greater of a minimum and the restoration value, and because the tiers above it are elective rather than mandatory. If the city revokes the permit it is entitled to recover under the bond the full amount of any loss occasioned. Commercial general and automobile liability insurance is required alongside at the city’s stated limits, with a self-insurance route on proof of ability.
