Bond amount
For deposit requirements up to $50,000 a cashier’s check ($500 min / $50,000 max) is allowed; above $50,000 a performance bond is required. Effective Jan 1, 2026, minimum performance-bond by permits/year: 24 permits = $120,000; 40 = $200,000; 60 = $300,000; 100 = $500,000; under 24 = based on the work. MoDOT may adjust any amount.
